Time: 6 – 8 PM

Callbacks: Friday, Aug. 29, 8 – 9 PM

- Two contrasting monologues (30 seconds to 1 minute each)

- Contemporary/realistic style preferred

PRODUCTION DETAILS

 

About the play: This acclaimed documentary theater piece chronicles the community response to the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. Created through interviews with townspeople, the play remains a vital exploration of tolerance, hate, and healing.

​

Rehearsals: Begin Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025

​

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday evenings (times TBD)

​

Location: Center 12, 8204 Elmbrook Dr. Dallas, TX 75247

 

Compensation: Six complimentary performance tickets per cast member

 

Performances: Nov. 6th-9th, 13th-16th (Dark the 15th), and 20th-22nd, 2025
